The “Where Most Needed” fund reaches our most critical needs, enabling the ministry to better serve millions of children in extreme poverty. This fund allows Compassion to react quickly to a wide range of ministry needs. This is one of the most effective ways to donate.
The Reality of the Need
It's hard to predict all the ways a crisis will affect families living in poverty. Your gift will go to meet a family’s specific, urgent need just when the need is greatest.
Your gift will be used for interventions including:
- Food for families affected by food shortages and inflated food prices.
- Medical expenses, including doctor visits and surgeries.
- Counseling for children who have experienced traumatic events.
- Care for children who are now waiting even longer for a sponsor.
How We Use the “Where Most Needed” Fund
Your donations are reserved into a general fund used to provide for a variety of essential needs faced by children in poverty.
Donations to Compassion's Where Most Needed fund provide not only essentials and life-saving care but resources necessary to accomplish our mission — including personnel, materials, buildings and equipment. Your tax-deductible donation is stewarded by Compassion to provide for children around the world in immediate need.

Health assessments and nutritious meals to combat hunger
Heath Care Needs
Medical visits, emergency surgeries, vaccines and trauma counseling
Educational Support
Supplies for schools and workshops, equipment and furniture for Child Development Centers
